the rules;

1)No Flaming this game is unrated, meaning that there may, and probably will, be strong language, strong violence, sexual situations etc. You are not allowed to get mad at people for using these privileges. I am not telling you that you have to agree with everything, and I am not telling you that you can't be uncomfortable, I am only saying that you need to address these things calmly and take them up with the mods. If we look into it and feel that further action should be taken, then it will be. If we feel there is no reason to talk to the players about their actions, that's the way it is, if you don't like it you can always leave, though we wish you wouldn't.

2)No God-Modding I don't think I need to explain myself but who knows. This means your characters must have flaws. If they get in a fight with someone don't have them come out unscathed every single time. It gets old, annoying and extremely unfair when people do this, so please don't. You will get one warning, then you're out.

3)Be Active. We'd like to see a minimum of one post every four weeks, this will be monitored carefully. If you need to go on hiatus for a period longer than two weeks a simple post in the OOC journal will be enough to let us know, if you feel that your hiatus may last for longer than a couple of months we may ask you to resign your character. This will only occur if you seem unsure about continuing with the game.

4)We Tolerate NO Prejudice. Religion, sexuality and life style is something that is incredibly open in this RPG, as it is a fantasy realm. You cannot exactly put the taboo's of our world on the people of another. This can include elements of homosexuality and incest, however if you know that a thread or journal entry you are about to do will contain anything that may upset some individuals I urge you to post a warning. This includes forms of incest, abuse, drug use, and intense swearing. I'm not asking people to read anything they don't want to, so giving a warning will help eliminate that completely.

5)Be Creative. If you feel you have a good plot twist, or idea for the game please tell the mods. We are open to these things and encourage them as much as possible.

6)Run things like pregnancies, deaths, and major plot things by the mods before carrying them out on your own. It will help us keep track of what is going on, especially in the area of deaths.

7)Don't Fight. If you and another player have a problem please approach the mods, don't bring it into the game.

8) Have Fun We at This Land want you to enjoy your time here. That's why you joined in the first place right?

9)There is a five character limit at This Land. If you have five characters and feel you would like to apply for another please contact a mod and we will look into it. This will include checking how active each of your characters are, and how much stress it seems to be putting on you. We care about the players, and we don't want them to sacrifice real life for an online game. Real Life Issues Come First never ever put them aside for a game. The maximum amout of characters we will allow even after we've approved the 5+ characters is 10.

10)When Applying for a Fourth Character we ask that if all of your previous characters are female, you choose a male. Since the main characters are all women we may be lacking men in the game. If you were looking to have an important character maybe consider speaking to the others about possible friends, spies for the witches, romantic involvements etc. It will help make the game more interesting.
